They roared, they whizzed, they banged and they mostly got around the circuit.
"Ever covered an event like this before?" asked the Marshall as he issued me with my first ever Transmitter 'media' vest, which I went on to wear with a mix of pride and slight embarassment all afternoon.
"No" I replied "...are there restrictions about where I can go?"
"Not really, but if I was you I would stick behind the trees, these events get a lot of 'sunday' drivers if you know what I mean... for god's sake don't get run over"
