A day of hot cakes for the Crystal Palace Cinema Campaign

Up at the Grape & Grain we had heat, cakes, celebrities, celebrity cakes and The Peryls! The new Picture Palace Campaign canvas eco bags by designed by Jane Shearman sold like hot cakes, the cakes got hot and sold like hot cakes, Local hottie celeb Nadia Sawalha signed copies of her new cookery book donated by Bookseller Crow and they sold like....well you get the idea.

Loads of fun loving and friendly local people (and some not so local but wishing they were) turned out to enjoy a cool drink, buy a bag and a cake or two and listen to the wonderful local band The Peryls. All in all it was pretty much perfect.

Community? We got it!
